A few days back Taiwan Tech giant Acer launched its budget-friendly laptop in India and recently the company launched it’s Swift 5 laptop with 11th Gen Intel Core processor along with its Predator gaming laptop at the Next@Acer online event. It is the first laptop which comes with 11 gen Intel Processor and integrated with graphics. Display and Design
Acer Swift 5 Notebook comes with a 14-inch FHD IPS touchscreen display along with narrow bezels all around. The display panel supports NTSC colour gamut of 72%, 300 nits peak brightness, and has a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The Swift 5 Notebook has deigned beautifully with the super slim design.
In line with the Coronavirus pandemic, a big change to the design is an antimicrobial coating that is added to the entire laptop. The antimicrobial coating restrains the ability of microorganisms to spread on the material’s surface. It includes a Corning Gorilla Glass with an antimicrobial for the display and optional body coating.
Processor, RAM & Internal Storage
Acer Swift 5 runs on Windows 10 and powered by the latest 11th-Gen Intel Core processors. It comes with the Intel’s integrated graphics memory based on the latest Xe architecture.
Moreover, you will get an Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU dedicated graphics card and offers up to 1TB PCle SSD internal storage with 16 GB LPDDR4X RAM.
Body
The Swift 5 is super portable because of its lightweight and super slim design. It only weighs just 990 grams along with a maximum thickness of 14.95mm.
Connectivity
You get a USB Type-C Thunderbolt, USB 3.2 Gen 2, and an HDMI ports. In addition, you will get a Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 802.11ac (WiFi 6) along with a 3.5mm audio jack on the right edge.
Battery
Acer Swift 5 packed with a 56Wh battery that can deliver 24-hour of battery life, claimed by the company. The Swift 5 sports a fast-charging system which can charge within 30 minutes and will be offering 4 hours of battery backup.
Price and Availability
You can get Acer Swift 5 at the starting price of at $999.99 (INR 75,500 approx). It is available in two different colour options i.e Mist Green and Safari Gold. The device will go on sale starting from October in the US.
