Realme Buds Classic: Detailed Review

Build Quality, Design and Comfort

The Realme Buds Classic comes in a glossy plastic body with half in-ear design. The oval-shaped earbuds fit in the ears perfectly and don’t fall easily. Moreover, it is very lightweight and can be carried easily. The earphones come with a yellow-coloured cable organiser to keep the wires tangle-free which is a good job done by the company. The lower part of the wire comes with a protective layer for grip and gives strength and we find a straight 3.5mm connector. We miss out the L-shaped connector here which feels more convenient while holding the phone horizontally but that is our personal opinion you may not feel the same. The upper part of the wire, however, is not as thick as the lower part but that is totally fine at this price. These are available in two Realme classic colours – Black and White.

Sound Quality and Functions

The sound quality and bass are extremely good all thanks to the 14.2mm long drivers. However, the audio output is quite loud so the sound comes out of the earphones which might be audible to people around you. There is a microphone and a multi-functional button backed on inline remote which is well responsive and easy to press but there is no button for adjusting volume. So to change the volume you have to reach for your phone instead. However, the multifunction button on the remote allows you to play/pause song or answer/reject calls with a single press. You can switch to next song with the double press, triple press to go to the previous song and for the voice assistant, just press and hold it. While calling, the Realme Buds Classic manages to perform well with crystal clear audio but it captures surrounding noise too.

Verdict

If you are looking for wired earphones under Rs. 400 with very good bass then you must have a look at these earphones. The earphones perform very well and come with an above-average build quality considering the price point. The company has offered 14.2mm drivers at Rs. 399 which is commendable and meet your expectations if you are an audiophile and attend a lot of calls. The Realme Buds Classic is very affordable and highly recommended if your budget is below Rs. 400.
