Disney+ To Launch on 3rd April in India, Here’s what you need to know!

Disney+, along with IPL season 13, was scheduled to be released via Hotstar on 29 March,2020. But the launch was pushed forward as IPL was postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Now a new release date has been announced for Disney+, i.e. April 3.

The Hotstar logo was also changed from Yellow & Black to Blue & White colours.

Disney+ Hotstar will have a new interface for the application and a fresh website style. In addition, viewers will have the ability to explore popular Disney networks including Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic and Marvel. Users can also download unlimited content.

There will be over 250 movies, 100 series including Disney+ Originals and children’s content, new Bollywood movies, and specials from Hotstar. All Disney films and shows will be dubbed in Indian languages (Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu) and will have subtitles.

Disney+ Hotstar Subscription Price

There will be 2 annual subscriptions, like those already in existence. For Disney+ Hotstar, users will be charged Rs. 399 (earlier Rs. 365) for Disney+ Hotstar VIP whereas for Rs. 1,499 (earlier Rs. 999) for Premium subscription.
