BSNL Launches Bharat Air Fibre Services in Maharashtra; Starting From Rs. 499

Sanjay Dhotreji, Hon’ble Minister of State for HRD, Communications & IT and Electronics, Govt Of India inaugurated BSNL “Bharat Air Fibre Services” at Akola, Maharashtra today. With inaugurations of Bharat Air Fibre services, the residents of Akola & Washim district can be provided high-speed Internet Connections in rural areas also.

Sanjay Dhotreji, Hon’ble Minister of State says, “The Bharat Air Fibre service introduced by BSNL is a part of digital India programme which is a flagship programme of the Government of India with a vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. the technology will help in connecting people of even the remote places of Akola and Washim district through high-speed internet highway.”

BSNL Bharat Air Fibre provides BSNL wireless telecom connectivity in an area up to 5 km range from nearest exchange on Radio Network in last-mile using unlicensed Spectrum band to provide both Broadband and Voice services. It offers high-speed wireless broadband connectivity which is up to 100 Mbps by deploying point to point/point to a multi-point radio network in collaboration with local entrepreneurs as partners, with robust Backhaul connectivity from the nearest BSNL Nodes which are located in rural exchanges. It connects the customers beyond 5 Km also, with reduced internet speed. BSNL is providing this service with the support of Telecom.

Bharat Air Fibre service provides high-speed broadband plans with unlimited voice calls to the customers with speed up to 100Mbps with most affordable prices starting from just Rs 499/- per month. It will help many citizens and organizations of this area to implement Work From Home, online education by schools etc in the present trying times of pandemic.
