Apple introduced the iPhone SE series back in 2016 later discontinued in 2018. Apple later resumed the SE smartphone series in 2020 with iPhone SE 2 which is comparatively priced lower than other premium smartphones. The iPhone SE 2 is the successor of iPhone SE, launched at a starting price of $399 and will go on sale from April 24 in the US.
It seems iPhone SE 2 or 2020 design is similar to iPhone 8 and iPhone 11 internally. For security purposes, the typical touch ID on the home button returns and is seen after 3 years which replaces the Face ID in the device.
There is an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and can be immersed in 1m deep water for 30mins.
The handset is build of glass and aluminum frame, measures 138.4×67.3×7.3mm and weighs 148g.
Besides, Apple has discontinues iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.

iPhone SE 2 features HD Retina IPS LCD panel of 4.7-inch with 750×1334 pixels resolution. There is a support of Haptic touch which can also be seen in the latest iPhones. Other features such as HDR10 and Dolby Vision support are there as well as True Tone tech for balancing white balance.
Processor
The 2020 iPhone SE is powered by Apple’s latest Hexa-core processor A13 Bionic chip which was introduced last year. Along with the A13 Bionic chip, there is a 4-core Apple GPU and NVMe internal storage of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The device supports 3GB RAM.
Battery
Again, Apple has not provided any official information on the battery but expected to be 1821mAh. All we know is the there is up to 13hours of video playback time and supports 18W fast charging. The device also supports wireless charging.

Camera
Similar to the iPhone 8 design, there is a 12MP single camera at the backside with f/1.8 aperture and OIS. Other features include LED True Tone flash with Slow Sync, Smart HDR and can shoot 4K videos up to 60fps.
There is a 7MP sensor on the front side for selfies with f/2.2 aperture and supports gyro-EIS.

64GB variant costs $399 (around INR 30500), the 128GB priced at $499 (around INR 38000) and the highest storage options 256GB variant costs $549 (around INR 45000).
However, the iPhone SE 2nd generation has launched in India at a starting price of INR 42,500 which is higher than the US pricing because of GST and other additional costs.
