Nokia C3 Launched in India as a Budget Smartphone at a Starting Price of Rs. 7,499

The Finnish HMD Global has not just focused on the sub – Rs. 15,000 segment but also kept the entry-level segment smartphone in mind. The company has launched a budget smartphone called Nokia C3 alongside Nokia 5.3 in the country. The budget smartphone segment was also totally missing a non-Chinese smartphone and the Nokia C3 will be competing with the Chinese phone makers at this price.

Design and Display

Well, in terms of design, the Nokia C3 will remind you of the older smartphone with thick bezels on the top and bottom. The back panel boasts a single camera with an LED flash, a fingerprint scanner and a Nokia logo. The smartphone features a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 1440 x 720 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

Internal Configurations

The Nokia C3 is powered by Unisoc SC9863A chipset coupled with up to 3GB RAM and up to 32GB internal storage. For storage, you don’t have to worry much because you will be able to expand it by 400GB using a MicroSD card. The smartphone also runs on Android 10 with Stock Android experience. There is a 3040mAh battery that supports just 5W charging technology. The similarly priced smartphones of Realme and Redmi offers faster-charging technology.

Camera

Again, the Chinese smartphone makers offer at least dual camera setup at this price while Nokia has provided a single rear camera of 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. On the other side, we get 5MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Price and Availability

Nokia C3 is priced at Rs, 7,499 for the 2GB+16GB variant whereas the 3GB+32GB variant costs Rs. 8,999. It comes in two colour options – Cyan and Sand. The phone will be available for pre-booking on Nokia’s official website from September 1 and will be sold from September 17.
