As a part of the Xiaomi’s 10th anniversary, the company has launched Mi 10 Ultra at a virtual event yesterday. The Mi 10 Ultra is the topmost smartphone in the Mi 10 series – Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 Lite, however, only Mi 10 could make its way to India. The Mi 10 Ultra comes with Snapdragon 865+ chipset, 120W fast charging, quad rear cameras with 120x digital zoom.
Mi 10 Ultra: Specifications and Features
Display and Design
The Mi 10 Ultra features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED punch-hole display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Besides, the display supports 800 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ certification, Delta E <1, JNCD <0.63. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. As far as the design is concerned, it is similar to the Mi 10 Pro but we a ceramic panel. There is a larger camera module arranged vertically that accommodates quad-rear cameras.
Internal Configurations
The smartphone comes with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset along with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. Surprisingly, Xiaomi has provided MIUI 12 based on Android 10 in the phone. And to solve the heating issue on heavy usage, there is a VC liquid cooling system, graphene and thermal sensor array. The Mi 10 Ultra is equipped with a 4500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging technology and 50W wireless charging technology. The wired charger can charge the phone completely in just 23 minutes while the wireless charging solution takes 40 minutes to fully charge the phone, says the company.
Camera
The device comes with a quad-rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor with both OIS and EIS support. Moreover, there is a 20MP 128-degree ultra-wide camera, another 12MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical and 120z digital zoom as well as OIS. Then there comes a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and depth sensing. The selfie camera, on the other hand, comes with a 20MP sensor.
Price and Availability
The Mi 10 Ultra is launched at a starting price of CNY 5,299 and goes up to CNY 6,999 for the high-end variant.

The smartphone will be available on sale from July 16 in China in 3 colour options – Black, Silver and Transparent. As of now, the company didn’t reveal anything on the smartphone’s arrival in Indian market or globally.
