After a long time, Gionee has finally launched a smartphone called Gionee M30 in China. The smartphone comes with a huge 10000mAh battery and just one camera at the back. Well, both of them are unbelievable, isn’t it? The Gionee M30 is launched at CNY 1,399 for the sole 8GB+128GB variant which is approximately Rs. 15,000 in India.
Gionee M30: Specifications and Features
Display and Design
The Gionee M30 comes in a gaming phone look that looks cool with red accent. But if you look closer, the back panel sports a single camera which is very disappointing. Beneath the camera module, we get a fingerprint scanner and a Gionee logo. The smartphone features a 6-inch HD+ display with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution. There are broad bezels at the bottom of the display and slim notch style bezel that accommodates an 8MP selfie camera. The Gionee M30 has been launched in only Black colour.
Internal Configurations
Starting with the security, the smartphone comes with a dedicated encryption chip for additional security. So if any security-related questions arise in your mind, this would be a relief. Besides, the phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. The storage can be further expanded by 256GB via a MicroSD card. The battery department is the interesting part as the device is packed with a 10,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging and even reverse charging. For connectivity, there is 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, Wi-Fi, Dual 4G, 3G, VoLTE and GPS.
Camera
Sadly, there is a single rear camera of 16MP accompanied by an LED flash that is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
Availability
The smartphone will be sold in China from this month itself. However, the Indian availability is still a question as there is no confirmation by the brand.
