With the debut of the ProGear B20 Fitness Band, BoAt, an Indian electronics brand famous for its audio products, has joined the wearables market. The newly introduced Fitness Band comes with a plethora of features that can give competition to other leading fitness band companies like Xiaomi and Realme. Key features of BoAt ProGear B20 include real-time heart rate monitoring, up to 10-days battery life and 14 sports mode.

BoAt ProGear B20: Specifications and Features
The ProGear B20 fitness band sports a 0.96-inch coloured display with touch functionality. Since it is a fitness band, it will track and monitor your sleep quality, calories burnt, steps taken and real-time heart rate. In case you are thinking to wear this during workout sessions then you need not worry because there is IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. There are a total of 14 sports mode like biking, treadmill, running, hiking and many more.
Besides, there is a feature called Smart Notification with Vibration Alert for messages and other features include Call Alert, Music control, Camera Shutter Control, Alarm Function, Wrist Wake Gesture, Guided Meditative Breathing and a lot more. Moreover, there are a lot of interesting watch faces.
For connectivity, the ProGear B20 uses Bluetooth version 4.0 with a connectivity range of 10m. The company claims the fitness band can offer 7 to 10 days of battery life (10 days if you don’t connect it with your smartphone) and 10-15 days of standby time. And for charging, you can charge it with a USB port by directly plugging it the in-body USB. Moreover, BoAt claims that it can be fully charged in 1.5 hours.

The BoAt ProGear B20 is available in Blue, Black and Beige colour for Rs. 1,799. It is officially sold on BoAt website and Amazon.in.
Our View
This is BoAt’s first attempt in the wearables market and the company has launched it an affordable rate as per the features they are offering. We believe that the company will offer the same quality product as they offer in their audio products. Comparing the features with leading fitness band brands, BoAt’s fitness band can be a value for money product.
