The Chinese-origin brand Oppo has launched a new 10000mAh power bank 2 in India at Rs. 1,299. The newly launched power bank offers 18W fast charging which is close to the 10,000mAh 20W power bank that was announced last year at a higher price.
Oppo 10,000mAh 18W Power Bank 2: Specifications and Features
The Oppo Power Bank 2 comes in a solid rectangular body with a 3D curved design and a ridges texture. It comes in a slim design and easy to carry as it weighs just 273 grams. There is a matte finish so it won’t attract fingerprints easily. Moreover, there are two USB-A ports for charging two devices simultaneously and a USB-C port. The company claims the Power Bank 2 has 12-factory safety assurance including overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, input under-voltage fluctuations and more. Apart from the ports, there is also an LED indicator to indicate the battery level.
Oppo has offered a low-current charging mode so when you double press the power button, it will turn into that mode. This mode is useful to charge accessories like a smartwatch or TWS earbuds. The company says that the 18W two-way fast charging can deliver up to 50% faster charging as compared to 5W charging. But for this, your device needs to support QuickCharge or USB-PD standards. Moreover, the brand also claims the Power Bank 2 can charge a 42000mAh device 16% faster than any other charger.
Price and Availability
Oppo’s 10,000mAh 18W Power Bank 2 comes in only two standard colours namely Black and White. Unlike the previous 20W Power Bank which was sold on Amazon, you can purchase it from Flipkart at Rs. 1,299 right now.
